Dorian McCall

Architectural Research Intern

As a graduate student in Architecture at the University of Oregon, Dorian is interested in historic preservation, especially as an approach to sustainable design through resource conservation. He began working with Salazar through an ETO Net Zero Emerging Leaders internship in 2022, and then joined our team for a second internship to focus on Portland’s LGBTQ+ Historic Sites Project. Dorian is part of the team surveying historically significant LGBTQ+ sites in Portland, culminating in the nomination of a significant property to the National Register of Historic Places. Dorian’s dream preservation project is restoring villas in Italy, and outside of his studies, you can find him hiking, learning new languages, reading, or traveling.
