Celebrating Recent Design Review Approvals

Wow, it’s been a busy summer! We are excited to share that three more of our developments received Design Review Approval this summer: Aldercrest Apartments Renovation and New Community Building in Gresham, OR; Maple Apartments in Oregon City, OR; and Goldcrest Apartments in Beaverton, OR. Aldercrest Apartments is a renovation of an existing garden-style community nestled in a quiet pocket of Gresham. Maple Apartments is not yet on the website, but look for it soon. It is a 171-unit development consisting of seven apartment buildings and a community building opening onto a central green – challenging grades are balanced with preserving some mature trees onsite. Maple Apartments included extensive community engagement this spring; you can read more about that on our April 9 blog post. Goldcrest Apartments will also be added to the website soon!  It includes a 4-story, 75-unit affordable family housing building wrapping around a community garden, playground, and BBQ / picnic space. The design was directly informed by a robust community engagement process through Washington County.

Our teams are all busy working towards building permits this fall with seven developments anticipated to break ground between now and the end of January. Thank you to all our hard-working staff, terrific clients, and invaluable consultants for making these great developments happen!
